Submarine Cable Laying Services Needed for Innogy Nordsee 1, Germany

Innogy Nordsee 1 GmbH is seeking for submarine cable laying services for its offshore wind farm situated 32 km north of the island of Juist between the traffic separation area Terschelling-German Bight and German Bight Western Approach. 

The contract is for the preparation of the design, supply, storage and installation of the submarine inter-array cables connecting 54 wind turbine generators and the substation.

The Innogy Nordsee 1 wind farm comprises an array of 162 offshore wind turbines with an installed capacity of 6 megawatts each. At the wind farm, with an area of around 150 km2, the turbines are built in water which is 26 to 34 meters deep.
