The commissioning of the London Array’s 175th and final turbine happened at 16.09 on Saturday, 6 April. Thus, full capacity has now been reached at the 630MW first phase of the world’s largest offshore wind farm. Bladt Establishes Jacket Foundation Production Site at Lindø Industrial Park (Denmark)

Bladt Industries are establishing a production site at Lindø Industrial Park based on another significant order for foundations for offshore wind. At Lindø, the company will have more than 30,000 square meters of production halls at our disposal and will create dedicated production lines for serial production of jacket foundations for offshore wind turbines.

Preparations for the installation of wind turbines at the Riffgat offshore wind farm have begun in early April.

Only after a few hours’ notice the fast crew boat Seazip Hurricane carried out a successful crew change 90 miles offshore at the North sea for a major cable laying company with crew, equipment and provisions.

 

Germany: Global Tech I Awards Contract for 10 Foundations

The project company Global Tech I Offshore Wind GmbH has awarded a contract for the production of ten tripod foundations to Iemants NV and Eiffage Construction Métallique consortium following the European tender.
