CTruk's Vessels to Feature on Seawork Pontoon (UK)

CTruk’s latest Offshore Windfarm Service Vessel CWind Adventure, a CTruk 20T, is operated under the CWind boat share initiative and will go straight to work as part of the company’s growing charter fleet.

A CTruk 20T and the company’s Military & Security Division demonstrator cat THOR will feature on the Seawork pontoon. CTruk Managing Director Ben Simpson comments: “It’s the first time we’ll have vessels on the pontoons, which is an exciting prospect, and it is in no small part due to the success of our last Seawork, following which we clinched several contracts. CTruk has launched 5 vessels since the last Seawork and we still have a couple to go in the water before the next event opens.”

Boat share partners Peter Richards and Sally Arthey of WTGS have been in business since 2004 and have operated many types of vessel. Peter explains: “WTGS has built up a good reputation in the industry, having worked on many offshore wind projects around Britain, the Netherlands and Belgium and we pride ourselves on the level of service given onboard. We chose a CTruk 20T based on our experience in the field and the knowledge that fuel economy and versatility play a major part in vessel charter decisions.”
