USA: O’Malley Doesn’t Deliver on Energy Goals

Governor Martin O’Malley said that he has delivered on some goals, unfortunately energy and transportation are not on that list, writes Maryland Reporter.

Energy use per capita has declined by 5% due to recession, but the goal was not to bring it down by 15% by 2015.

Renewable energy targets of 25%by 2022 are also lagging.

Namely, O’Malley is planning to introduce a similar bill, which was rejected by the General Assembly two times already, to ensure funding for an offshore wind farm.
