Germany: GL RC Attests CE Conformity of UPDRAFT Winch

GL Renewables Certification (GL RC) has assessed UPDRAFT’s “UPDRAFT winch 800-20-A” according to DIN EN 14492-2:2006. Additionally, GL RC evaluated the CE marking process, the technical design and the manuals for this product according to the EC machinery directive.

The winch operates with a chemical fibre rope and is designed for operation up to 30m/min (empty) in offshore wind turbines with hub heights up to 120m.
