Germany: PNE WIND to Take Part in HUSUM WindEnergy 2012

At the world’s biggest wind energy trade fair, “Husum WindEnergy 2012”, the wind farm developer, PNE WIND AG, will present the current status of company’s onshore and offshore development only a few weeks after the biggest transaction in the company’s history was successfully concluded – the sale of the “Gode Wind” I to III wind farm. PNE WIND AG will be present in Hall 3, stand 3D06 on Husum’s trade fair ground from September 18 until 22.

The Cuxhaven company’s specialists work on the development of wind farm projects to be realised in the short and medium term in Germany, South East Europe, Great Britain, Canada and the USA. In addition to its own offshore wind farms in the North Sea, many projects in Germany as well as for international markets are in preparation.

Markus Lesser, PNE WIND AGs Director of Operational Business: “Our project pipeline is well filled. In Germany alone we are working on wind farms in which up to 1,100 MW of nominal output can be produced. Approximately 2,000 MW more are being developed abroad. This forms the basis for company development in the coming years.”

In addition, PNE AG also offers operators of wind farms the same technical and commercial operational management which it uses its own wind farms in daily business. This will also be presented in Husum.

Martin Billhardt, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PNE WIND AG, commenting on the current situation: “With an equity ratio of about 50 percent and high liquidity we are well placed to take advantage of the positive developments in the coming years. We wish to make our growing contribution to the energy revolution both nationally and internationally by rapidly expanding wind energy.”
