ACS to Participate in HUSUM WindEnergy, Germany

Air Charter Service (ACS), one of the world’s leading providers of passenger and cargo charter flights, will present itself at the HUSUM WindEnergy 2012 fair. As an exclusive partner of the fair the globally active charter service provider presents its extensive range of services which is especially tailored to the needs of the offshore industry.

A flexible and direct accessibility is crucial for installation, operation and maintenance of offshore wind parks. Complex material and heavy goods transports have to be managed. Moreover, the transportation of crew members and specialists to the place of operation, especially dropping them off directly on top of the wind turbines, has to be ensured. Individual and just-in-time charter services in freight as well as passenger transportation are a fundamental component for efficient and smooth offshore wind park logistics.

At the booth fair participants get a thorough overview of the reliable and tailored logistics solutions of ACS.

“We are able to provide our clients with the adequate aircraft any time. Of course, we meet all standards to ensure a safe transport and, therefore, the guaranteed supply of the offshore wind parks also at adverse weather conditions,” highlights Stephan Blank, Director Cargo Air Charter Service Germany, adding: “HUSUM WindEnergy 2012 is the ideal platform for us to exchange with and further connect to the numerous industry representatives participating.”

As an exclusive partner of the fair ACS also offers a Shuttle-flight-service between the fairground of the HUSUM WindEnergy and Hamburg Airport.

Air Charter Service (ACS) was founded in Great Britain in 1990 and is one of the world’s leading providers of passenger and cargo charter flights. The company with global operations has its headquarters in London and its business is spread across its commercial, executive and cargo charter divisions.

The company employs more than 250 people at 15 business centres on five continents. In addition to its headquarters in London, ACS operates branches at places like Dubai, Johannesburg, Moscow, New York, Paris, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo. Air Charter Service has an office in Germany – at Frankfurt/Main.

The central element in the services provided by ACS is an electronic aircraft database, which the company uses to track the movements and availability of more than 50,000 aircraft around the globe. This enables the brokers to offer their customers just the right air transport at any time. ACS also organises the complete transfer of goods to the final destination, if required. Air Charter Service organised more than 6,000 charter flights during 2011 and its turnover exceeded US$ 400 million.
