Germany: AMBAU, DOTI Sign Offshore Wind O&M Contract
AMBAU Windservice GmbH, a subsidiary of AMBAU, one of the leading manufacturers of tower and steel foundation structures for offshore and onshore wind turbines, has signed a contract with DOTI to provide repair and maintenance work for its twelve 5 MW offshore wind turbines.
The Nordic Market news site informs that the contract’s duration is five and a half years. It involves all necessary work concerning corrosion protection, steel structures construction as well as assessments of each component.
DOTI is a consortium of EWE, E.ON and Vattenfall, which operates the first German offshore wind farm Alpha Ventus.
