UK: Local Companies Promote Humber Opportunities at Danish Event

According to Bdaily, four UK companies along with Humber Local Enterprise Partnership held a meeting with Danish offshore wind companies at EWEA 2012 exhibition.

ABP, AbleUK, Danbrit Shipping and Wind Power Support presented the growth of the Operations & Maintenance Centre at Grimsby, as well as the Green Port Hull proposals and the Able Marine Energy Park. The UK delegation also introduced Danish companies with the incentives for offshore wind investors.

“This was an important opportunity to highlight the world-class offer the Humber has for offshore wind and the scale of the land and incentives available to investors,” said Richard Kendall, Manager of the Humber LEP.

“The feedback from the companies we met was excellent, so there are some interesting conversations to follow up on over the next few months,” he said.
