Willi Balz Appoints Two New Windreich AG Supervisory Board Members (Germany)

The sole shareholder Willi Balz has provided the board with a new course for sustainable growth of Windreich AG. Dr. Ing. Axel Muller, director of Transporter Industry International GmbH, who has been a member of the Windreich Supervisory Board since the founding, will chair the Supervisory Board. His deputy is the former CFO of Bertrandt group, Ralph Jacoby.

“I expect that the new composition of the Supervisory Board will be a breath of fresh air for the company and ensure even faster project implementation,” said the company founder. The target of the empire AG wind dynamic growth in offshore business requires heavy investments and thus s significant equity and debt. “With their outstanding experience in the financial sector, the new Supervisory Board members are therefore a great asset to our company. Technically we have been and are traditionally the leader in the wind energy industry.”

Ralph Jacoby was a business manager at Bertrandt group for many years being mainly responsible for the profitable growth of the company. From 2001 to 2005 he was in charge of finance and investment relations whilw serving on the Board of Bertrandt AG. The appointment of Dr. Axel Müller as chairman also ensures the necessary Windreich AG control panel continuity. August von Joest was a partner and a managing director for over 12 years, at Odewald & Cie, a leading German private equity firm. He has excellent relationships in the national and global financial sector, including the Arab region as well as the financial center of London.
