EDF Reconsiders on French Offshore Wind Tenders

Paris based EDF Energies Nouvelles gives up on bid to construct offshore wind farm at Le Treport.

“We’ve taken this decision in order to concentrate on the four other zones,” said David Corchia, CEO of EDF Energies Nouvelles, reports Les Echos.

In July French government launched €10 billion offshore wind tender

Earlier this year EDF Energies Nouvelles Partners joined forces with DONG Energy to respond to French Call for Tenders.
