The systems comprise a combination of 5G LTE + Mesh wireless nCentric nodes, which enable A2Sea to access 5G high-speed internet onboard the vessel, nCentric said.

Sea Installer recently installed the first sets of Siemens Gamesa D7-type turbines on the 309MW wind farm in the Belgian North Sea.

Located 40km offshore Ostend, the Rentel wind farm will comprise 42 Siemens Gamesa D7-type 7.35MW turbines, which are expected to be installed after the summer.

The offshore wind project, developed by Rentel NV, a consortium including Otary Offshore Energy, DEME Group and Elicio NV, is scheduled for full commissioning by the end this year.
