Le Havre Port Opens Call for RoRo Platform Construction

The French Port of Le Havre has issued a tender for reinforcement works on the Hermann du Pasquier quay as part of the offshore wind reception.

The works will include the construction of a roll on/roll off (RoRo) platform, as well as the execution studies.

The platform will be 75m long and 25m wide and will consist of several rows of metal piles, a network of reinforced concrete beams and a slab also made of reinforced concrete. 

Classic quay equipment (bollards and fenders) will be installed, and a roadway should be built at the rear of the platform, the tender writes.

The duration of the contract is one year and five months.

The deadline for submitting applications for the tender is 30 January 2020 by 5:00 p.m. local time.

The Port of Le Havre also opened a tender for reinforcement works on the Joannes quay that will include two quay developments of 200m.
