The tender concerns the certification of the three platforms, each comprising a 700MW AC offshore substation, primary for the execution phase of the project.

TenneT said it has, in-house, developed a standard platform up to the level of basic design, which has been appraised by DNV GL. During each project, the contractor will use this basic design and develop it into a specific detail design while meeting the other requirements and the DNVGL-ST-0145 standard.

The certifying authority will review and certify the implementation of this standard into the design and the execution of the works, the company said.

The contract will begin on 21 February 2020 and will end on 31 December 2025. The deadline for submitting applications is 20 November by 14:00 local time.
