Situated some 45km north of the island of Borkum, Merkur will comprise 66 GE Haliade 6MW turbines.

The 396MW wind farm is being developed by Merkur Offshore GmbH, a joint venture between Partners Group, InfraRed Capital Partners, DEME Concessions and Coriolis.

It is scheduled for full commissioning in 2019.
