The spread which will be fabricated at the company’s assembly hall during April and May will consist of blade rack grillages and a mezzanine mid-deck structure, MCC said.

The mobilization will include the installation of the grillages and mid-deck structure in addition to blade racks that MCC manufactured for the Sandbank offshore wind farm installation campaign in 2016.

The name and the location of the offshore wind project have not been disclosed.

This project is the latest in a series of offshore wind-related contracts the company has won or has carried out in March.

Other projects include a contract to fabricate and deliver the full deck spread for the Hornsea Project ONE offshore wind farm, which will be fully assembled and surveyed prior to installation aboard DeepOcean’s installation vessel Edda Freya, as well as the recently completed fabrication and painting of access platforms for the East Anglia One offshore wind project.
