OEEC 2017: Community Square Taking Shape

The Community Square program is taking shape, with as many as four ON AIR talk-shows. In each talk-show – which will be live-streamed on OffshoreEnergyToday.com – we look at challenges through the eyes of energy consumers and citizens, on top of the energy professional perspective.

The organisation of Offshore Energy is currently inviting talk-show guests on a number of topics including commercialising energy transition, reuse of offshore installations, industry collaboration, and digitalization. Further to that, Maarten Bouwhuis will present ON AIR at Community Square.

“When my children play on the beach on the North Sea coast, I see the wind turbines on the horizon: proof that energy transition is underway. The shift to CO2-free energy supply will not happen overnight. Debate about this and especially on tangible actions is important, so my children will inherit a clean world. I look forward to leading those discussions during Offshore Energy 2017”, comments Bouwhuis, who is a frequently requested presenter, moderator and discussion leader distinguished by his enthusiast and engaged approach, substantive focus and timely sense of humour known for his work on Dutch television.

Launched in 2016, Community Square on the Offshore Energy exhibition floor will offer an exciting free-to-attend program of ON AIR talk-shows and Community Café meetings on industry transformation. At Community Square you can hear what high level developments of goals, roadmaps, and milestones really mean for your business, and for you.
