Cortland Ropes In European Deal with KWINT Offshore

Customized rope and cable specialist, headquartered in the US, Cortland Company, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with KWINT Offshore, under which the Dutch hoisting and lifting company will be the European distributor of Cortland synthetic ropes and slings.

KWINT will provide a breadth of services including inspection, repair, splicing, and storage to existing and new customers in oil and gas, renewable and industrial applications, Cortland said.

“By adding the product portfolio of Cortland, the scope of supply of KWINT Offshore will be complete with rope and sling solutions; for any lifting, mooring, towing question, there will be one port of call: KWINT Offshore.”
