Photo of the Day: Wikinger Jackets Falling in Line

While the installation of the first foundations at the Wikinger offshore wind site started at the end of the last month, Bladt Industries is lining up further jackets at its Lindø Facility in Denmark. 

In total, Bladt will deliver 41 four-legged jacket foundations for the Wikinger offshore wind farm, being built by Iberdrola off the coast of the island of Rügen.

The offshore wind farm will consist of 70 Adwen’s 5MW turbines which are under construction in Bremerhaven and Stade. The EUR 1.4 billion Wikinger is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2017.
