The design contract comprises fully detailed design and follow-up of a 200MW offshore substation – named Kriegers Flak A (KFA) and a 400MW offshore substation – named Kriegers Flak B (KFB).

KFB will also include an extension module, denoted KFE, with transformation from 220kV to 150kV and a connection to the offshore wind farm Baltic II. The KFB platform and KFE extension are together named KFBE.

ISC’s design contract will run from 2015-2018.

The Kriegers Flak wind farm will be located approximately 15 km east of the Danish coast in the southern part of the Baltic Sea, close to the boundaries of the exclusive offshore economic zones (EEZ) of Sweden, Germany and Denmark.
