In connection with MHI Vestas’ sale of offshore wind turbines, BIIR has developed various mounting wagons, which ensure that cases of the turbine nacelles can be placed correctly.

The assembly takes place in Lindø Industrial Park, which offers large areas for companies in the offshore industry.

MHI Vestas contacted BIIR after it determined a requirement for different equipment for the transportation of nacelle parts and the assembly of various components such as gaskets or hatches.

BIIR has developed 11 different wagons, some of which have duplicates, and 20 units have been sent to Lindø.
