Bladt: Last Load Out of Gode Wind Components

The last load out of the Gode Wind 2+1 transition pieces and monopiles was completed yesterday at Bladt.

The 97 transition pieces for the project were fabricated at Bladt’s facilities in Aalborg, Denmark, whereas the monopiles were fabricated by EEW SPC in Rostock, Germany.

“The complete project has been a success. Timing is everything. Because of an excellent cooperation between DONG Energy, GeoSea and Bladt Industries, we managed to complete the last load out before originally scheduled,” said the company in a press release.

The transition pieces have a diameter of six meters and a height of approximately 30 meters.

The Gode Wind project is owned by DONG Energy and consists of a total of 97 foundations divided into two lots.
