Launching of ‘Isaac Newton’ Vessel (Multimedia)


On March 7, Jan De Nul launched the world’s largest multipurpose cable laying vessel Isaac Newton at the Uljanik shipyard in Pula, Croatia.

The Isaac Newton will be able to perform different jobs as a trenching and offshore support vessel, as a subsea rock installation vessel and as a cable laying vessel. The vessel is planned to sail out for her maiden voyage in the course of August 2015.
