Along with the two support tugs 'MTS Valiant' and 'Multrasalvor 3', the barge will be mobilized in the Lune deep/Heysham lake area to repair the damaged West of Duddon Sands export cable.

All of the Inter-Array or Infield Cables have been surface laid and are now being buried by 'Maersk Responder'.

The West of Duddon Sands offshore windfarm is a joint venture between DONG Energy and ScottishPower Renewables, comprising 108 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 389 megawatts.

The wind farm will feature 108 Siemens Wind Power SWP 3.6 MW wind turbines with a 120 metre rotor diameter.
