Photo of the Day: Ramsey Sound Tidal Project Kicks Off

Offshore WIND’s photo of the day: Tidal Energy Ltd (TEL) commenced work in Ramsey Sound, Wales’ first tidal energy test site.

The company will install a single DeltaStream unit off the coast of Pembrokeshire.

The project will be used to demonstrate the capability of DeltaStream as a tidal stream generator and will provide evidence on how the device interacts with the environment around it.

DeltaStream unit features steel main base frame secured to the seabed that hosts three nacelles.
