VIDEO: Aeolus at Eneco Luchterduinen Wind Farm (Animation)

German-built vessel, Aeolus will be christened tomorrow in Rotterdam.

Measuring 139 m in length, 38 m in the beam, and with a design draught of 5.7 m, the Aeolus is fitted with a crane capable of lifting 990 tonnes.

The vessel is already completely occupied for 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Its first job is Luchterduinen offshore wind project located 23 kilometers off the coast between Noordwijk and Zandvoort.

The Luchterduinen project is one of the first that will features monopile and the transition piece built as a single component.
