The Netherlands: ATLAS Paint Consultants Acquires ISO 9001 Certification

ATLAS paint consultants B.V., the leading inspection and consultancy company, yesterday announced that the company had received the ISO 9001:2008 certification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) for advising, inspection and surveys of insulation, paint and coating projects.

Published by ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, the ISO 9000 family of standards is related to quality management systems and is designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to the product being developed and/or produced. ISO 9000 pertains to the fundamentals of quality management systems, and ISO 9001:2008 addresses the requirements that organizations must fulfill in order to meet the standard.
