UK: CTruk to Launch Tenth 20T MPC Workboat (VIDEO)

CTruk Boats in Brightlingsea is in the process of completing its tenth 20T Multi Purpose Catamaran (MPC) workboat since the company’s launch just over two years ago.

The naming ceremony of ‘Adventure’ is set for Friday 1st March at 2pm.

The CTruk 20T MPC is designed to meet the complex demands of the offshore wind farm support sector. By means of CTruk’s patent-applied flexible modular pod system, she can not only transfer technicians to the turbines in comfort, but also can reconfigure to work as; a fuelling vessel, with her 16 tonne fuel capacity; a rescue vessel, using the ‘Argo cat’ amphibious rescue craft; a survey vessel, with moon pool attachment; a large lift HIAB pod, carrying up to 20 tonnes on deck; a dive support vessel and numerous other functions.
