Belgium: BSTEE, OWI-lab, Sirris to Host Renewable Energy Sources Study Day

The Belgian Society of Testing and Environmental Engineering (BSTEE), The Offshore Wind Infrastructure Application Lab (OWI-lab) and Sirris are hosting a study day on Reliability and Efficiency in Renewable Energy Sources with a focus on offshore wind energy applications on Friday, February 22th, 2013.

The ‘Offshore Wind Infrastructure Lab’ (OWI-Lab) is a research and development initiative which aims to initiate and support innovation projects concerning offshore wind energy in Belgium. The project itself aims to increase the reliability and efficiency of offshore wind farms by investing in testing and monitoring equipment that can help the industry in reaching these goals. Our local companies and other European companies still miss access now to test infrastructure and relevant datasets to support and accelerate their innovation process. OWI will help these local and European companies in reaching there goals.
