UK: Feasibility Study for Outer Hebrides Harbours

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar government is inviting tenders for consultants to provide a comprehensive overview of the feasibility of all Outer Hebrides harbours as service and maintenance bases for the marine renewable energy industry.

As a secondary aim, the study should also provide an assessment of the capability of all harbours to support offshore wind and marine oil and gas development.

In the course of the study, the main ports of entry should be assessed for their suitability as landing points for onshore wind plant and materials.
