Gardian 8 WFSV Undergoing Sea Trials (Ireland)

On 12 January, 2012, the first 20-metre Wind Farm Service Vessel was launched and is undergoing sea trials in Arklow.

“Gardian 8″ has been commissioned to service the offshore renewable industry in the U.K.

The official launch of this vessel will be on Tuesday 24 January, 2012.

Arklow Marine Services is a family business run by the Tyrrell family involved in boat building in Arklow since 1864. During this period, the art of shipbuilding has evolved through many phases, from traditional timber boat building to steel boat building and the latest material being aluminum used in the building of high speed vessels.
