Danish Energy Agency Approves Stake Divestment in Anholt Offshore Wind Farm

On March 28 2011 PensionDanmark and PKA signed an agreement with DONG Energy on the acquisition of 50 per cent of the Anholt offshore wind farm.

The Danish Energy Agency has now approved PensionDanmark and PKA as parties to the licensing agreement concerning the construction and operation of the Anholt offshore wind farm that was concluded between DONG Energy and the Danish Energy Agency in 2010.

The EU Commission has also informed that DONG Energy has no obligation to notify the transaction to the EU. The transaction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2011.

The information provided in this announcement will not change DONG Energy’s previous financial guidance for the financial year 2011 or the expected investment level.
