This is already the third framework agreement signed by 8.2 Consulting AG with Vattenfall this year. Prior to this, two contracts for quality surveillance from wind turbine manufacturing through to final commissioning of offshore wind turbines were concluded.

“We have worked with 8.2 in the past and have found the company and its consultants to be of a high calibre with a transparent and professional communication style. We look forward to expanding this relationship to include OrangeWind and are glad to have the consortium on board as a partner for future projects,” said Nicholas Thompson, Manager of WTG Project Engineering in the BU Offshore, BA Wind, Vattenfall.

“The agreement creates conditions that enable us to react more specific and flexible to personnel requirements and thus, results in a faster and more efficient handling of the project requests,” said Benjamin Quader, Head of Offshore Wind at 8.2 Consulting AG.

“When 8.2 reached out to partner up, we felt that our expertise with contracting, package and project management would create a perfect fit with Vattenfall’s request,” said Willem Schellingerhout, Managing Partner at OrangeWind.
