CTV Wanted for 200 MW German Offshore Wind Farm

Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum II GmbH & Co. KG has issued a contract notice for the charter of a crew transfer vessel (CTV) for the Trianel Windpark Borkum II offshore wind farm in Germany.

The CTV will be used for the transportation of personnel as well as material, components, and spare parts to the 200 MW Trianel Windpark Borkum II offshore wind farm as well as possibly other wind farms in the vicinity, according to the notice.

The deadline for applications was set for 15 March 2024 and the contract has a one-month extension option.

The Trianel Windpark Borkum II offshore wind farm is located approximately 45 kilometres off the northern coast of the island of Borkum.

 In summer 2020, the 32 wind turbines with a total capacity of around 200 MW were put into operation and have been generating around 800 GWh per year since then.
