MingYang Gets First Offshore Wind Turbine Order from Northeast China
MingYang Smart Energy has received an order from China Datang Corporation to supply the turbines for the 100 MW Zhuanghe offshore wind project in China.
MingYang will deliver the 19 MySE5.2-166 turbines in April 2021 for the project located off the coast of Dalian City.
The order is said to represent MingYang’s first offshore order in China’s northeast region.
“The order extends the cooperation of Datang and MingYang, and we are thankful to Datang for placing their faith in us once again,” the Chinese turbine supplier said.
The two companies previously collaborated on the Datang Jiangsu Binhai offshore wind farm, which features 50 MySE3.0-135 turbines, as well as 46 3.3MW units provided by Jinfeng Technology.
