Ming Yang and China Three Gorges Ink Offshore Wind Deal

The agreement was signed on 7 January in Beijing in the presence of Ming Yang CEO and Chairman Chuanwei Zhang and Wang Lin, Deputy Secretary and General Manager of China Three Gorges Group.

The parties agreed they will continue to “deepen the multi-channel, multi-domain and multi-level in-depth cooperation in offshore wind power based on the principles of complementary advantages, market leadership, and mutual benefit.”

In addition to offshore wind, Ming Yang and CTG will collaborate on onshore wind energy and technological innovations.

Ming Yang recently marked the start of mass production of the MySE8-10MW typhoon-resistant offshore wind turbine at its factory in Yangjiang, Guangdong.
