Trianel Borkum Seeks Corrective Maintenance Services

Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum has issued a tender seeking corrective maintenance work for the Trianel Windpark Borkum offshore wind farm in Germany.

The contractor will be in charge of the corrective maintenance and optional repair/refurbishment of major components such as gearboxes, generators, blade sets and rotor hubs.

The tender also covers work on the MV converters, MV switchboards, main transformers, blade and YAW bearings, as well as rotor bearing for 40 AD5-116 energy converters on tripod foundations with a nominal output of 5MW each.

The contract will begin on 17 December 2020 and is set out for 5 or 10 years, on which a decision will be taken during the award procedure before querying the final offer.

Interested parties can submit applications until 11 November by 22:00 local time.

The first Trianel Windpark Borkum phase comprises 40 5MW Adwen turbines which have been operational since 2015. Trianel Windpark Borkum II, currently under construction, will add 32 Senvion 6.2M152 turbines scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
