Goldwind has launched its prototype 8MW offshore wind turbine at its facility in Fujian, China. Based on the complete test and certification, the turbine will conduct a two-month drive train test at Goldwind’s Fujian test platform. The 8MW turbine will be installed at the Xinghua Bay Project Phase I
Goldwind has launched its prototype 8MW offshore wind turbine at its facility in Fujian, China.
Based on the complete test and certification, the turbine will conduct a two-month drive train test at Goldwind’s Fujian test platform.
The 8MW turbine will be installed at the Xinghua Bay Project Phase II offshore wind project by the end of 2019.
According to Goldwind, the turbine has a rotor diameter of 168 meters and is applicable to wind class IEC I.
