The clearance of boulders would be carried out on the seabed at 72 wind turbine locations. The clearance is to be carried out with a vessel with a grab, and possibly by a plow at certain positions.

The contract would start on 31 August 2020 and end on 31 December 2020.

The tender will remain open until 8 November. Selected candidates will receive invitations to tender or to participate on 22 November.

The Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm will feature 72 Siemens Gamesa 8.4MW turbines installed 15-40 kilometres off the Danish coast and scheduled to be fully operational before the end of 2021.

Vattenfall has recently marked the start of construction of Kriegers Flak after the Rostock-based EEW Special Pipe Constructions GmbH started manufacturing the first monopile for the project.
