According to the Dutch company, DP Galyna left for the wind farm a month ago to support a commissioning program.

The work represents the vessel’s second deployment this year, after being chartered for training offshore personnel.

DP Galyna’s sister vessel DP Gezina will also sail out for training offshore workers and is set to complete the charter by the beginning of June.

Both of the two 70m long vessels comprise an Ampelman XL type heave compensated gangway and have low air draft to ensure the safety of the offshore wind turbines. They each provide 38 cabins with 50 beds.
