Vattenfall Kicks Off Offshore Wind Tender Qualifiers

Vattenfall has launched Qualification System Wind 2016, an online tool for selection of candidates suitable to carry out specific works for the company’s offshore wind projects off the Netherlands and Denmark.

The qualification system applies to the supply and maintenance of wind turbines with at least 6MW of nominal power, as well as geotechnical and geophysical site investigation works to acquire the geological, geophysical and geotechnical design basis for offshore wind farms.

Qualification period for geotechnical and geophysical site investigation works for offshore wind projects in the Dutch and/or Danish territorial sea and/or Exclusive Economic Zone has already begun.

The procedure will be executed in full through electronic means, with the website of the Commerce-hub as the sole medium of communications.

All relevant documents regarding QS-Wind 2016 can be found at the website. Applications for qualification must be uploaded there and communications with Vattenfall will go through the website.

The QS-Wind 2016 project was launched on 17 June, 2016, and will continue until 17 June, 2019.
