The sessions will be held on Wednesday, 24 February, in Stephenville, and Thursday, 25 February, in Corner Brook.

Executives of Beothuk Energy and some of its consortium partners will be present to answer questions. These informal information sessions are being held to ensure transparency, the company said.

Back in February 2014, Beothuk selected St. George’s Bay in western Newfoundland and Labrador as the site for a 180MW demonstration offshore wind farm, with Port Harmon in Stephenville serving as the operations and maintenance hub for the farm.
