Bladt Loads Out First Gode Wind TPs

At 04.40 on Saturday morning, the first load-out of four anode cages and transition pieces (TPs) for Gode Wind Offshore Wind Farm was finished in record time of approximately 16 hours.

This made Friday night full of heavy activity at Bladt’s site in Aalborg.

Before its arrival in Aalborg, the STRALSUND barge had visited Rostock in order to pick up the four monopiles for the transition pieces.

The transition pieces have a diameter of six meters and a height of approximately 30 meters.

Bladt Industries is fabricating the 97 Gode Wind transition pieces in Aalborg, while its subcontractor EEW is fabricating 97 monopiles in Rostock.
