Gargantuan Beauty Arrives on Her Mighty Servant (VIDEO)

DolWin beta, the offshore HVDC platform that will connect three offshore wind farms in the German part of the North Sea, arrived in Haugesund last night, carried by Dockwise’s heavy-lift ship Mighty Servant 1.

DolWin beta was built by Dubai Drydocks World, which was subcontracted by Aibel AS. Aibel developed the platform jointly with ABB, main contractor for TenneT’s Dolwin2 project.
