UK Offers World-Class R&D Resources for Offshore Renewables

The news of the newly-merged National Centre for Renewable Energy and the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult gives the UK the chance to develop R&D for offshore renewables at a greater pace, utilising fully the indigenous world-class expertise that the country has, BVG Associates says.

Last week the company also facilitated the latest in its series of development events for Scottish Enterprise, aimed at encouraging businesses to get involved in offshore wind. The event in Stirling was attended by over 70 companies, with more on a waiting list.
