Njord Offshore Expands Its CTV Fleet

Njord Offshore will add a 26m Damen 2610 Twin Axe crew transfer vessel (CTV) to its fleet this month, the company informed today.

The new CTV, named Njord Alpha, will bring additional load lugging capability and excellent ride comfort for the further offshore wind farms.

Njord Offshore worked with Damen to create an optimised vessel to suit its needs, making minor changes to the standard design to improve comfort, efficiency and safety.

Improvements from the standard TwinAxe design include:

• Increased passenger window size (50% increase) for high viz

• Changed railings for increased foredeck craning area
