Lahmeyer Exhibits at EWEA’s Event in Germany

Lahmeyer Exhibits at EWEA Offshore 2013

Wind energy specialists from around the world will meet from November 19-21, 2013 at the Frankfurt/Main fair grounds for the EWEA OFFSHORE 2013. Lahmeyer International will present their wide range of services.

These include technical and organisational concepts for yield maximisation and comprehensive technical and commercial services for wind power projects.

As a leading independent technical advisor, Lahmeyer offers project support by experienced, multi-disciplinary teams of experts. In accordance with client requirements, they participate in all project phases – from project conception via construction up to operation.

During EWEA OFFSHORE 2013 Lahmeyer will present experience from recent projects with respect to technical Due Diligence of international wind energy projects. In addition, the experts will introduce in more detail two main topics of consultancy, primarily addressing equity investors in the European offshore wind sector. At first, how investment costs can be significantly reduced in light of the present market situation, and second how to permanently improve the yield of wind power projects.

Lahmeyer has already participated in a number of offshore wind projects in the North and Baltic Seas, in North America and Asia. The teams of experts have prepared 745 Due Diligence studies, have assessed wind potential for more than four hundred plants, and have carried out more than 150 feasibility studies for the wind energy sector.

Moreover, Lahmeyer is currently involved in the first round-robin test organised by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), called “Comparative Resource and Energy Yield Assessment Procedure (CREYAP) exercise”, particularly treating technical issues for precise estimates on internal wake losses as well as influences from adjacent wind farms. First evaluation results will be introduced within the scope of the EWEA OFFSHORE 2013 conference.
