GE to Host Wind Farm Health & Safety Seminar in Paris, France

GE, with the collaboration of Bureau Veritas, has organized the first Wind Farm Health & Safety seminar in Paris, France on June 27th, 2013.

The event will include the participation of other important institutional and wind industry players and will allow attendees to discuss important subjects related to the safety of wind farms, while exchanging best practices and solutions for wind energy environmental, health and safety issues. The seminar is open to everyone interested in attending.

GE works to be at the forefront of environmental protection, health and safety, and first launched the Wind Farm Health & Safety seminar in Italy in 2008 with the collaboration of Bureau Veritas. Holding the event for the first time in Paris this year is an opportunity for both GE and Bureau Veritas to improve the environmental, health and safety culture and concepts within the wind industry today.

Special Topic: ICPE Impact on Wind Industry

During the seminar, Bureau Veritas will hold a conference on the impact of ICPE (Installations Classed for the Protection of the Environment) on the wind industry, presented by Mr. Bernard Laugier, Director of Large Projects and Ms. Sophie Badie, Environment, Health, and Safety Operations Manager for Bureau Veritas France.
