Germany: Participants Pleased with Husum Wind Energy 2012
A few days ago the Husum Wind Energy 2012 came to an end. Leading equipment manufacturers and suppliers emphasized the important role of wind power project developers, who exhibited at this year’s fair.
Each wind project requires a professional, individual project management – from site selection to commissioning and management of the systems. Therefore project managers play an increasingly important role in the wind market. “I have 20 years of experience and have never experienced such a successful show – this is truly unique,” said Andreas Eichler, Sales Director of Vestas Germany. This was confirmed by the German market leader ENERCON: “Our customers, many of them engineers, love Husum. Therefore, the fair was the best place to present E-115 turbine to potential buyers,”says Teelke Oldermann, company spokeswoman of ENERCON GmbH.
Among the leading exhibitors at this year’s fair in Husum were Ventotec, UKA, WPD, Ostwind, WKN, juwi, praising the Husum Wind Energy as an ideal platform for exchange of ideas with manufacturers. Catrin Petersen, Head of Communications & Marketing at Symbol said: “The Husum Wind Energy 2012 was very successful for us. We experienced an unusually high interest in our projects and services and look forward to doing good business. WKN has ordered several wind turbines currently in planning for ongoing projects. “
Christian Schnibbe, Corporate Communications of wpd onshore GmbH underlines the importance of Husum Wind Energy as the central platform for dialogue and exchange of experiences with equipment manufacturers: “The trade fair was very successful for us. We have experienced strong attendance. Following this successful exhibition, we know that we will continue the long tradition of the wind energy trade fair in Husum in 2014. “
