Energy Supply Chain Roadshow Starts in East of England

EEEGR (the East of England Energy Group) has launched a brand new series of events to encourage businesses to diversify and grow within the energy sector’s supply chain.

The forthcoming event series will be travelling across the region through September, October and November. The scheduled events will give businesses the opportunity to get to grips with the supply chain opportunities over the coming years, and will explore the challenges and offer insights for companies to be able to steer their way through.

Simon Gray, EEEGR’s CEO said: “This exciting new series of events gets us on the road around the region to really engage companies that want to know more about the energy sector and the rich opportunities right here on our doorstep.”

The road show will outline the expert support and mentoring available to directly help companies. The supply chain road show series is part of wider package of support available to businesses delivered by EEEGR in partnership with Nautilus Associates and part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

EEEGR’s supply chain and business improvement programme has been specifically developed to help aspiring companies to understand their potential and give them the tools they need to see real growth.

To deliver this programme EEEGR has teamed up with Nautilus Associates who are providing high level expert business consultancy, fully funded under the EEEGR supply chain programme. Nautilus have been in the energy sector for more than 20 years and are well placed to advise on all aspects of starting, running and growing business in the energy sector.

John Balch, Managing Director at Nautilus said: “Many businesses have the capability to work in the energy sector, it is a case of matching your products or services with the needs of those companies who are already involved. Although this takes a period of planning, the rewards are worth the time invested.”

The programme is open to all small-to-medium sized enterprises across the East of England region and at these events EEEGR will be promoting the benefits for businesses with ambitions to realise their growth plans in a rapidly expanding industry.
